"Rewrite This Tragedy "

How is the gospel relevant to a child living in a dump?  What should you say?  What can you do?  These questions and more will inevitably be raised by every team member doing work in Nicaragua through El Ayudante.  It is important to take advantage of this unique opportunity to help facilitate further conversation and thought.  One way to accomplish this is by allowing your team to work through a devotional during your trip.

Rewrite This Tragedy is a full-color, eight-day devotional guide specifically designed for mission teams working with El Ayudante.  Individual books can be previewed and purchased at www.lulu.com.  Simply register for an account and then type “Nicaragua Devotional Book” on the search line.  (Note: the online preview of the cover art is off-centered and the photo quality appears poor; however, this is not the case for each printed copy you purchase.)

Each day in the devotional also includes lyrics from various songs intended to be listened to.  These tracks are available for purchase through iTunes and can be found as an iMix under the heading “Nicaragua Devotional Book.”  (Note: the only song not available through iTunes is Switchfoot’s C’mon, C’mon.)
