Ministry opportunities
exist to serve at-risk children in child protection centers throughout the Department of Leon including El Ayudante’s center, Hogar Cristiano Nicaragüense (HCN).
Opportunities to serve children in protection centers include:

• providing medical care, basic educational supplies, and clothing to children especially in financially challenged centers
• teaching Biblical character and Truth in creative environments
• facilitating social and recreational opportunities—field trips
• meeting the basic needs (food, clothing, shelter) of the families of children placed in protection centers because of extreme poverty

El Ayudante works under the authority of Nicaragua’s Ministry of the Family to meet the needs of children placed in child protection centers.
